Wide Load - 3" Multi-Purpose Pack

The Wide Load- 3" Pack is the small brother of our Fattie Wide Load GP Pack, and at 12" wide by 7" high and 3" deep. It is half the size of it's bigger sibling and comes in at over 250 cubic inches (30cm x 7.5cm x 3.8cm, over 3.8L volume.) It is designed to help you sort and organize your gear in the field: Internally both feature 3 mesh pockets with elastic rims against the back panel, a zippered mesh pocket running the full length and width of the front panel and elastic loops on the bottom,  additionally the WL has a velcro secured slot pocket behind the 3 mesh pockets for you to further separate your equipment. The angle to which the pack will open when the zippers are fully released is controlled by a paracord drawstring with a cordlock: you can keep it mostly closed, let it fall flat at a square angle, let it fall all the way down or any angle in between, additionally there is a paracord loop at the top back center inside the pouch to dummy cord your important gear. On the exterior they are again quite similar, you'll find 3 bars of 8 channel PALS webbing for modular pocket attachment on front, with a velcro strip above them to attach a name tape or small patches, side cinch straps with full length Velcro secured ends, which also serve as quick access zipper stops to keep the bag from falling open if you were to unzip it in a hurry to reach in, in the back are 2 D-Rings to hang the bag from a strap or secure suspenders if used as a buttpack, and a full MALICE Clip matrix with 4 long MALICE Clips included to mount to the widest possible variety of bases, on the bottom you'll find 6 bars of PALS webbing which are 4 channels long but only bartacked at the ends to allow you to store and secure long objects in them like batons or knife sheaths or attach pals pockets for magazines, tools or survival gear (Our HABD pouches fit great down there.) Use as a medic bag, extra space on your ruck or vest, to organize small stuff in a pack (works great on packs with internal PALS, hang it near the top and when you unzip it will hang down to display your equipment!) The double zipper pulls allow you to open only the part where the item you need is or to position them at one side or the other anywhere along the bag and know that your contents are secure. There are 3 grommets at the bottom of the pouch to allow water to drain out during maritime operations.
