PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Daniel Defense 9.5 FSP Free Float Rail System features a cut in the front of the top rail to accommodate the front sight post and gas block of a carbine length AR15 gas system, while at the same time, providing much needed additional rail space along the sides and bottom rails.

More rail space means enhanced capability for modern rifle accessories. Indexing pins are constructed of stainless steel while all other components are 6061-T6 aluminum. The finish is Mil-Spec hard coat anodized black. Rails are 1913 Mil-Spec and are 100% checked for conformity.

Every rail is available with either ladders or panels which are made from cantoprene, which can handle heat up to 350.

The Daniel Defense M4Rail Handguard System was designed around these parameters:

Must be free float.
Must be light weight and strong.
Must be able to quickly dissipate heat.
Must feel like a conventional forearm (Oval not round).
Must lock to barrel nut or upper receiver to prevent spin.

Materials & Construction

Precision CNC machined from a block of 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat type 3 mil-spec anodized black for a rock hard lasting finish while weighing in at a mere 10.2 ozs.
